Intern Spotlight: Kyle Poerschke

Kyle began his internship in May 2023 and will continue until December. Simultaneously, he is pursuing his Master’s in Marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating in December of 2023. We asked Kyle about his internship so far, and this is what he had to say:

Do you have any milestone moments or favorite memories from your time as an intern so far?

I got to travel to Houston to be a part of a couple of quarterly leadership meetings with our clients. Witnessing the dynamic collaboration between our teams firsthand was both insightful and invigorating.

How would you describe what it is like to work at NextLevel Thinking?

It feels like a work family. I enjoy the size of our team, and it allows us to develop relationships with one another. The relational foundation of our firm facilitates open and effective communication. We engage with each other honestly, whether that be through constructive feedback or rejoicing in each other’s achievements. It always feels genuine.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

NLT provides unique experiences that aren’t typically offered in standard internships. This includes participating in leadership discussions with our clients, handling significant tasks, and playing a role in crucial decision-making processes. I recommend immersing yourself fully in the experience; it’s an invaluable opportunity to gain insight into the inner workings of various aspects of the business world.
